Several years back Floyd and Valerie Beard came to the Arizona Cowboy Poets Gathering in Prescott, AZ to do open sessions as they had never been to our Gathering. We were blown away! WOW, what great cowboy poets and the nicest folks in the world. Since then they have been regular invitees who our Selection & Scheduling Committee always bring up in the top echelon of invitees. Floyd and Valerie have both been night show poets and Floyd will be the Friday night featured entertainer for our 2021 Gathering. They ranch in Kim, Colorado and spend a great deal of time entertaining audiences at Gatherings everywhere. If you have not seen them, go see and listen with your heart as that is where their poetry comes from. Our audiences love Floyd and Valerie Beard and their cowboy poetry! I do too!
